Fall!

Fall came late to Ciudad Juarez - these photos were actually taken in early December.

The kids had a great time in the backyard, undoing all the work we put in raking the leaves, but it was well worth it to see them enjoying themselves.

Everly's first time in the leaves.  We weren't going to put her down, for fear of her eating the leaves, but we gave it a try and were glad we did!  At first, she was a little tentative, but then she loved it!  The crunch of the leaves, the feeling of them in her hands, it was great!

These two play really well together.  It doesn't hurt that Everly already idolizes her older brother :)

We are so glad that Everly was able to experience fall leaves :)  She had a great time with them!

And on occasion, she would try to sneak a couple of leaves into her mouth :)

Happy Fall!!  Sure it's no east coast fall, but we will take what we can get!!
