On October 14, 2014, Everly Kaye was sealed to our family for time and all eternity in the Gilbert, Arizona Temple. It was a beautiful day, spent with family and friends. Thank you to everyone who supported us.

This temple is such a beautiful temple, and we are so grateful that we were about to have Everly sealed to our family here. While the Ciudad Juarez, Mexico temple is our current temple, getting passports for family and places to stay just didn't seem like the easiest thing to do. We decided, why not make a trip of it and visit family along with the sealing. We chose the Gilbert Temple because Mel and Paul were able to help with getting the temple ready before it opened. They were tasked with helping to put up the spectacular crystal chandelier in the celestial room. While Mel had to step out due to her getting dizzy on account of it being super hot and her being quite far along in her pregnancy, Paul was able to help put the final touches on this beautiful temple.
The sealing itself was very special. Everly was an angel and was her sweet, happy self throughout the ceremony. When the Sealer was talking to us, and as he was preforming the sealing, Everly just focused her whole attention on him. She just gazed up at the Sealer with her beautiful bright eyes, and was so well-behaved. Asher also did well! It was a big change from when he was sealed to us in the DC Temple. He stayed on his chair, and was quiet and listened very well. Fortunately, the sealing isn't a long ceremony! :)
It was such a beautiful, special day, and we are so lucky to have Everly in our family for time and all eternity. She brings such joy and happiness to our lives. We feel so blessed!!
