The New York Whalens

During our home leave, we made a trip up to NY to visit Sean's family for a week.  Asher had fun playing with his Aunties and Uncle, Grandparents, and of course Darby, the family dog :)

Being silly with the rug :)

Getting ready for church and looking dapper :)

Auntie Kaia - these two may look sweet and innocent, but watch out - they're trouble!

We caught Ryan ironing his Mexican flag, haha.  We had to take a picture since we were going to be living there in a couple of months :)

Getting ready to watch a movie with the family...Gotta have popcorn!

Uncle Ryan and Aunt Sophia getting silly with Asher

I love Asher's funny faces :)

Asher loves his Aunties!

One of the days we went to a play place for the kids to have fun and get some energy out.  They had a great time running around and being silly together.

Afterwards we ordered pizza and then played some more.  It was a fun day for everyone!

We also made it to a bounce house, and Asher had a blast.

He went up and down this one so many times, I couldn't even keep track.  You rock climb up the middle and then slide down the slide.  Good times at this bounce house!

We also took Asher to get his hair cut with his Aunt Shannon.  This was his first paid for hair cut, and he did pretty well!

On our way to get his hair cut, we had to go through Marshalls where he found this giant apple.  He wanted to take it home :)

Hanging out with Papa T

And his Aunties - I love this picture!

We tried to get a picture of Asher with his Grammy Babs and Papa T, but Asher wasn't cooperating.  Instead, he decided he needed to pick his nose.  He was going through a nose picking phase at the time :)

So if you can't beat them...join them :)

I think Asher put himself in jail :)

Darby is now Asher's dog away from home.  After he got used to him, Asher had fun playing with him, and Darby became very protective of him.  It was cute to see them play together :)

We had a great time with the family, and were sad to leave.  Thanks for all the fun!

After we flew back, we stopped by the temple on the way home to see the beautiful tulips that had bloomed in front of the building.  They were beautiful!!

Asher with his Grandpa.  He loves his Grandpa and gets so excited every time he sees him.  It makes me so happy to see it :)
