Even though we go every year, it's still fun to post about the Cherry Blossoms in DC. This year we went down with my sister and my niece. They did pretty well, and we got to see the beautiful cherry blossoms on a beautiful April day in early April.
The happy cousins ready for a day in DC.
There was a lot of air traffic that kept Asher's attention. He was loving it!
Forget about the blossoms. Give him something that flies in the sky and he is good to go!
And the blossoms...
The Jefferson Memorial
Too bad the scaffolding is throwing off everyone's pictures of the Washington Monument. Boo
Another way to occupy the day - climb some trees :)
And "hiding" in the trees...
Our attempt at a family photo...
My sister and niece
And the MLK memorial...
And by the end of the trip, the kids were pretty much done. Andelyne was having a melt down, and Asher was a big boy, stuck in a little stroller, next to a screaming girl...and you can see his disgruntled feelings in his face :) But overall, it was a fun day!
