Another place that came highly recommended was White Sands National Park. We went in February, and the weather was perfect!
It's not often mom is in the pictures, given that she's usually the one taking the pictures!

A little scary at first, but once he went down the first time, it was just the beginning!

Everly was a trooper. She was a little tired, and wasn't sure about how bright things were, but she had fun too :)
Fortunately, once the kids got a little tired of hiking back up the dunes to go down again, there was an abundance of sand to play in!

Like I said, no one got hurt, just a small bit of trust lost and later regained :)

At the end of the day, we deemed it a success!! And off to home we went.
